Condolences to friends and family of our buddy Frank from @ironcladsportfishing.

The first time I met Frank he radio’d us in to a spot of yellowfin, gave us a few passes of bait, and made us pulled pork sandwiches and Mac and cheese for lunch and watched us start to bend a few rods. Was the kind of guy Frank was.

Most of the time you’d see Frank up in the crow’s nest, in full foul weather gear, usually giving his customers some pointers 😅.

Thanks Frank for the countless laughs, A dock won’t be the same without you there.

Rest easy, brother.

Started our July off with a string of backyard triple digits - even scoring on our half days. Fish are filling in and there are lots of options on where to point the boat and how to catch a tuna. Opportunity is knocking.

Kept ourselves busy last month. Some selects from some kite fish out west to picking at some locals in the backyard.

The highlight reel doesn’t account for the swings and misses we’ve had, or account for the fuel and hours burned having a staring contest with the Pacific Ocean.

Our constant will always be to work as hard as possible to put folks on fish.

Some epic Halibut fishing from the last couple months. When it was quiet we had easy limit days with multiple fish over 40”.

Feels strange fishing halibut in what’s usually our prime month for local tuna fishing -but when that isn’t happening we fish for what’s biting.

Had our buddy @bandito_fishing and his brother on the rig yesterday, and got into a knife to a gunfight situation on some 80+ pound fish. Managed to get a few along with some yellowfin!
